If you have never been here before The Chequers has two main rooms.
It is not a large establishment and there has been an inn here for hundreds of years.
Neither rooms are separated from the rest
of the the inn by doors and stairwells, so it is easy just to pop around the
corner to order another round or something extra from the menu.
This also is a reason for its popularity as a venue
for family occasions and celebrations, alongside the children’s menu or
being able to choose smaller portions from the regular adult menu.
So if celebrating Mother’s Day this year is going to be a family event
and you wish to reserve multiple tables,
come along and have a word with Maureen or Ivan,
who will do their best to meet your requirements
